feelin kinda free these days, cos i wanna slack this wk. slack alittle at least, afterall i have teachers' day holidays and sept hols to really mug intensively.
i really needa get out of the hse, or else the hols would be totally wasted on tv, music and MSN chattin.. i can oredi foresee it liao, heh

cant wait for thurs though. really hope hongsheng would pon his choir prac to go back to BGSS with me. cant wait to see everyone again, will be rather weird coming back as a senior. weird to see those familiar faces and abit shockin to realise that one yr has passed so quickly. still rmbed when i was a sec4, feelin ultra kan jiong at prelims and O's...

lookin back, it was so different man..

enough of the past.

time to look ahead, although i try to avoid the future bcos in approximately 34 days, promos will start. i jus written down the chapts to be tested. there's a rough estimation of about 40 chapt to cover, this includes all subj... and 40 chapts in 34 days aint exactly comfortin at all. haha, concerning? u bet...

i need the drive to study again. how did i chiong for O's? how?...

glad that PW is progressin better, found more research that kinda shocked me cos (well in short) our topic is rather rare and the websites provide little help.
at least they are contributin.. the best thing any leader could ask, cooperation.. ahh, let it cont'd and not die after awhile again pls.. haha

i realised smth abt myself. slp determines my mood... i was super super shagged this morning, i think i could slp while bathing lah. yes, that serious... eyes were half-open, could hear my very deep and slow breathing as i ate breakfast.
even in the car, i barely spoke more than 20 words to my mom cos i was "slpg" with semi-open eyes.
reached sch and saw afew pple i knew, but i acted 'tao' bcos i really cant be bothered abt anythin except slp...

felt so bad after that. haiz, surprisingly i didnt slp thrh any lecture except for GP lesson, but that's for 5mins i think? cos the teacher woke me up and asked me to answer a mrbrown question... u heard it, mrbrown / national day rally question. haha...

we even heard the new podcast of mrbrown, regardin national day rally. haha, super funny. gp teacher did a discussion abt the podcast and show relations to the national day rally. i suddenly realised that mrbrown is a super smart guy, despite all the jokes and humour. haha.. i applaude his attitude man!

waitin for yuanhong right now to send me the Written Report, before i create the cover pg and content pg.. so much for wantin to slp earlier

bored and tired.

i've finally commenced my revision for promos, as usual i have this big tendency to start off with math. am revising trigo currently...
i realised that the earlier chapters are really simple, as compared to the current ones.. haiz

back from another tiring wk at sch...
it's been really stressful currently...
with remedials, undone tutorials, doctor appointments, lecture assessments and pw...
and to add more workload

promos (which are 38 days away? as according to Hongsheng's msn nick)

been really caught with tonnes of stuff to do, seems like the workload nvr decreases one bit. the moment i finish a particular tutorial, i realise i have more things to do..

skipped sch on tues to see the eye specialist at Mount Alveria. he's nice, at least better than the general consultant at Marine Parade polyclinic. haha..
anyway the doc said to avoid contacts for the current moment, definitely pisses me off lah...
but when u have VISION vs VAIN... i would rather have vision.

went shoppin after that with parents. realised that sales are still on... got myself some shirts and socks. plannin to get a Converse shoes, cos i think it's way cheap.. but it's abit too common suddenly.
bought a $40plus shirt at Topman... went from the Bugis outlet to the one at marine parade, jus bcos bugis didnt have my size. it's 50% discount lah, so super worthwhile. and i think it's super nice.. will be wearing it for Holy Communion
(makes eye contact with dylan and kevin, hoping the arrangement will still hold, donno what i'm sayin? then wait til 3rd sept)

so tues was like a holiday to me. well at least a break from the things that are upcoming...

studies.. hmm, the current chapters are gettin really really chim. i dont even bother to try to understd during lectures. i onli fill in the notes, cos it'll really require tonnes of brain cells and neurons to figure them out...

phy: superposition (omg, i dont even understd the term lah)
chem: alkenes
math: curve sketchin (i dislike that female lecturer, everytime oso PMS and assume we understd everythin.. haiz)
econs: international trade (been slpin thrh all the lectures, cos it's seriously boring. lucky it's not coming out for promos)

someone pls teach me soon..

wkends are seriously gone. tmrw would be cellgrp and studyin time with xianbin. hopefully i can get some stuff done, although i donno whether i shud get tutorials done or study for promos...
cellgrp would be in the early evening/ late aftn... doin worship again, oh yea! haha

sunday meetin wenya (bro's fren) to get some "stuff" ... u guys will know what it is during svc, it's for someone. dont think haywire hor..
then chiongin to airport to study with sarah&candice if all turns out well, meaning if danny doesnt needa meet me. haha
svc will end pretty late, cos of the debrief and etc etc. reach home oso ard 6 or 7plus lah... surely no drive to do PW... which i still owe mr. lau my EOM, which is due since Tues. lucky liqin nvr hand in too... die together ya? haha

i still have Written Report, which i'm not lookin forward to even begin..

emily came back today. i really miss her... that smiley smiley face. the chicken phrase. the pat on the head (which i somehow forget to do today, haha)..
gosh, i miss that girl.

i'm lookin to nxt wk, gonna be a short one... with teachers' day and stuff. and the 1wk holidays, which would be spent at home muggin. poor me...

jus watched the "United We Stand" DVD (bought that album in the end, cos i wanna have original CDs lah). speakin of original CDs, i have this sudden urge to collect more CD albums for Hillsong and Planetshakers lah... money vs piracy... hmmm ..

the dvd was kinda cool. kinda reminds me of the Planetshakers concert and the atmosphere.
but these phrases really spoke to me..

been a really long time since i last blogged man... a wk? that's quite long liao..
it's been really an eventful wk... this wk and last wk too.

last wk was really cool. cos Planetshakers came lah... i had an awesome time during the concert. liqin and weishan oso went, but i nvr got a chance to meet them... cos they were late. heard weishan got lousy places... hmmm?
i think the vocalist is super duper power. his voice super crazy lah. think easily 4 octaves?? sickenin man... plus i realise that majority of Planetshakers' songs are at very high pitches and the keys all set that way too. sheesh..

dont see the fuss with the keyboardist.
as usual, it's girls and their fascinations... lord, dont let them lust.. haha, jus kiddin lah..
heard he's the youngest in the band, jus like me... (i'm the youngest in DE band and RL band too, minus the cute part though. sobs)

on a whole, i still prefer hillsong. why? cos planetshakers is too rock-type for me... i agree with dylan, planetshakers more of a performance band... plus the 'jump around' song doesnt appeal to me. i know it's still abt God and stuff... but it brings a wrong idea.
even worship songs are diff. cos majority of their slow songs oredi sound like 'evermore'.those kind with alot of drumming too.. a gd example for worship songs, are those that minister to u, eg: Still and With All I Am...

personal preference...

i'm not fussing or bad-mouthin planetshakers. it's jus my thoughts lah... it's a blog for a reason ok?
nevertheless, i bought the 'Pick it Up' album... and dylan got the "Arise album". shall borrow from him nxt wk... "beautiful saviour" and "worship you alone" are awesome songs. oredi figured out the chords liao, shiok..

anyway... let's move on..
sunday was deRetreat comm mtg. i like Joce's expression when she saw my hse... her shock-ness. heh, really miss deRetreat liao. it's like 1.5 wks ago and i'm desperate for nxt yr...
oh yea. danny quite evil... oredi deciding joce as nxt yr's Overall IC. haha, i cant wait...
i hope i can be Worship IC... hmm, start prayin Darren..

enough of last wk...

yday was submission of WrittenReport. i love my PW grp. we have the ability to not meet together (FYI: we onli met once during these 8mths) but get things done very efficiently. jus thinkin abt how efficient evadne and yuanhong are oredi shocks me... mingjie and fanfan are super committed, although they seem abit slack at times, they get things done quickly. u guys are awesome man...

i'm skippin sch nxt tues. goin to see another eye specialist regardin my eyes. yes... it has gotten red again. and i have to go back to spects again, which seriously annoys me... okay i admit, i'm vain ok!
but on a serious note. i really wanna know why the redness is gettin worse...
izit bcos of my sensitive eyes?
or maybe i shud change contact lens brand liao... maybe Bausch and Lomb aint safe anymore...
maybe Focus dailies?... hmmm
start prayin pple... cos when i asked the doc whether it'll affect my vision. he responded, "hard to say" ... maybe cos he's not a specialist lah... very worrying

lookin forward to Sat... gonna be leadin cellgrp with Dylan. would be a diff experience... putting myself in Lionel's shoes. heh..

i'm missing janelle oredi. with RLL congre mtg coming in 2wks, it's up to me liao... she's not gonna be there to guide me and provide advice. haiz... have fun ya?
well at least i have a god that i can trust... He wont fail me. he'll provide the anointing that i need. beyond all techniques. beyond body and flesh...

peaceful anxiety - being anxious abt smth, but knowin that you're not in control since there's nothin you can do abt it, but He's in control... think some of us need this now... dont u?

it's a national day eve, and i'm lovin' it. cos from tmrw, i'll be having 5days of hols. muhaha
that's why i could finally find the time to be bloggin here...

well, tonnes have happened. school and of course frens... let's not forget DE RETREAT.

school for the last wk has been rather quick-paced. i was totally slackin, cos every tutorial wasnt completed and lacked the drive to even bother abt them. maybe cos the topics are seriously gettin tougher and tougher.. hard to keep up. and when u really wanna take a break, reality sets back in and forces u to go, "wait a minute, i have sch tmrw!"

yea, that's the life. donno how many times have i said this... school is such a cycle. even the timetables have oredi sunk into my head. sianz..

coming back. last friday was rather fun and exciting for me. cos i was super anxious abt DE retreat, the moment PW was cancelled, i str away chionged home. in the end, i even had time to pack my stuff really really slowly.
trained to pasir ris, before taking a cab there. was great to be one of the early ones, as always... haha

shall not blog abt the entire retreat, cos it's super long and filled with tonnes of emotions/ experiences. one word: POWERFUL.
glad that i could play a role in the retreat commitee, and when i thud i could cont'd to slack... God decided to ask me to lead the entire tribe while the leaders was having their mtg. kinda shocked and had to think of smth to get the raaa the spirit of the retreat campers. think i needa improve at this part.. oh wells, that's over..

jus 2days after the retreat and i'm startin to feel the reality that cant be avoided. oredi things arent goin right... wipes sweat*
